That would be like 60e for 4 people dinner with beer. Much cheaper compared today for Finland.
When Finland switched from Finnish Marks to Euros, the conversion rate was 1€ = 5,94573 FIM. Thus, that bill would be 62,57€ with direction conversion. However, that doesn’t account for inflation. With inflation adjustment, that bill would have been be roughly 103€ in 2023 (see https://stat.fi/tup/laskurit/rahanarvonmuunnin.html).
We can’t use a conversion rate of 1999 or 2002 when Finland switched to Euro.

It comes to 103,35€ converted to today’s money. (Well last year to be pedantic)
I think a similar setting today would cost somewhere between 130 to 200 € depending on the restaurant. Then again, the fanciest places in Kokkola won’t be anywhere close to the fanciest places in Helsinki, at least in terms of price.

Beer = 18 FIM, fish 60 FIM.
This is very important piece of history because this proves that not everything was cheap even back then
