Ukraine is asking the West to protect our skies from Russian military aircraft and missiles. The bombing of peaceful cities has not shaken the categorical position of NATO and the European Union.

Shooting missiles out of the sky is an important last line of defense, but it is difficult and expensive and should NOT be the **only** defense.
We need to bring to bear all our intel and surveillance, locate air fields and launch sites, and make sure none of them can be used the next day.
