      How many times did a Russian official or Poetin said something like that? I think I’ve read it every time a new western weapon system was about to be delivered to Ukraine. So what’s new?

      Just get out of Ukraine with your army and settle for a peace agreement (and pay for the material and immaterial damage that has been done to Ukraine). Then you don’t have to worry about long range weapons coming down on Russia.

      Russian jets and drones crossed NATO territory several times, they are actively sabotaging infrastructure in EU countries and even targeted German business leaders like the CEO of Rheinmetall and tried to kill them.

      Russia has already brought the war to NATO countries without any repercussions.

      Interesting, the Russians previously said that NATO giving weapons to Ukraine at all is direct involvement, so this changes nothing.

      Western countries should tell Russia that Ukraine can send their missiles in Russia as far from the border than the Russian troops are from the border in Ukraine.

      Putin says a lot of things – mostly pure fascist propaganda. The most stupid thing Western leaders could do would be to listen to Putin and believe what he says. That would mean the end of Nato…

      The drone incursions into NATO countries and previously Russian fighter jets over the Black Sea intercepting and interfering with US/NATO drones and planes seems to be a strategy to pull NATO into the conflict, or to force NATO countries to negotiate or decide for Ukraine what the conditions on ending the war are going to be.

      Russia has attempted to frame the discussion of the war as a confrontation between Russia and NATO/The West/The US and not as a war they started with Ukraine, ignoring Ukraine altogether sometimes. The most painful part of all this for Putin is being outmaneuvered by an enemy he has portrayed as weak, backwards and inferior.
