Ho portato al ristorante un mazzo di girasoli; tutto il personale è stato molto gentile e amichevole, mi hanno aiutato a mettere in pratica la parte di ucraino che ho imparato e sono stati felicissimi di scattare una foto con me e la bandiera che mi ha mandato il mio amico dall’Ucraina meridionale.

What’s the story with this business? ie is it built by people who have immigrated bc of the war? Are there other locations in Ukraine? Etc. But awesome, regardless the story! I love to see such joy on your face and the kindness of bringing the sunflowers. I hope this place continues to get a lot of business.
Edit: ok got *some* answers from the article posted on here. I hope to hear about many more opening!! And I’m curious if they donate any $ to the war effort. Regardless if they don’t or they do, I’m glad to see people getting Ukrainian culture out there, if even by a dainty Croissant restaurant. Cheers to spreading your culture-in any way you can. You never know how it could affect someone’s views.
