Denmark has had border checks for years. Nobody cares and there aren’t too many problems caused by it.

Well, they are partying hard to Auslander raus, so should have seen this coming.
And to be fair, European moderate parties need to get their fucking heads out of their ass on this clearly popular issue (rational or not) to curb the rise of the far right dipshits

It’s the classic check they’ve been doing for years on the land borders. Just standing there letting most cars pass that aren’t suspicious. Then mainly stopping and checking every bus and truck.
Just that it’ll be mandatory everyday now and probably a bit more stern. But either way even when there were days of no checks. There is always some patrol hanging out on the borders.

Sad for the latino engineers trying to develop a career in europe :c but it is what it is i always knew this would happen eventually, for me europe is a nice place to visit not to live, coming back in a few years… maybe.

When I take the train to Germany, there is almost always a group of German police officers who check your ID. This has been going on for at least two years. Don’t know how it will change now

Sounds like the Swiss border, i.e. not really much more difficult.
