Sono uno spagnolo/venezuelano che si ritrova a imparare il tedesco e ad immergersi nella cultura tedesca, e ricordo solo questo posto chiamato "Colonia Tovar" che è un insediamento tedesco del 1843 in Venezuela; è fondamentalmente un villaggio dall’aspetto tedesco in mezzo alle montagne tropicali, non molto lontano dal luogo in cui sono nato. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colonia_Tovar

If that’s a church it doesn’t resemble an church in Germany
Yeah, I’ve heard of it, but I haven’t been there. I have been to Pomerode in Brazil, though, where there are also plenty of “German style” buildings. It’s a really weird feeling to be there because it’s so similar, yet so different and they don’t fit their surroundings at all.
