This is just awful. Even killers and pedophiles are getting fewer years than she!

    3. Make war on your neighbor, … uhm, I meant neighboring countries, relax folks!

It was exactly the same prior to ’89 . You are less likely to be accused of a poliyical crime if you accuse others first.

The idiots on the bus were in a hurry to demonstrate their patriotism by assaulting and reporting on anyone who seems like a traitor. No least because they themselves can be reported as collaborators if they were silent witnesses of such acts.

    5. “Russian constitution says that everyone has the right to free speech”

Well, the Russian constitution also prohibited presidents from being in power too long, but that didn’t work out now, did it?

This first story is pretty wild – how the hell is a Russian soldier fighting on the territory of a different state not a legitimate target? But yeah, I guess saying this to a widow of one is not the smartest of moves in a neo-stalinist country.

It’s not about truth or justice, it’s about repression and corruption.

“Trying to protect themselves at the expense of others”. Sums up the war quite well.

Imagine being a soldier in a war and while invading a country you are a legitimate target, well I’d never!! Outrageous!!

I always appreciate Steve Rosenberg’s reports but I almost couldn’t finish watching this one. Watching that elderly man being attacked turned my stomach.

Russia “heading” in a dangerous direction? Seems to me that they arrived wherever that is a long time ago

Oh, I love that last part, where Steve found that old man, who was attacked on the bus, only to find out that his father was sentenced to death under soviet purge.
      Russia is a terrorist state.

This isn’t genetic it is socially learnt behaviour in a dysfunctional society.

Why do they put them in these glass boxes. It’s dehumanizing as fuck

    21. It’s interesting that Steve Rosenberg has managed to last that long in russia without being arrested on fake charges or deported.
