The question “What are we even doing in Ukraine” is always asked disingenuously. They know exactly what we are doing – trying to stop Russia from genociding Ukrainians and destabilizing Europe. These people just don’t care but they are too afraid to admit it. This is why I appreciate JD Vance when he is so forthright about it. We know exactly where he stands.
I’m very disappointed to see that comment from Weinstein. I truly thought he was a better thinker.
Weinstein being a wanker, nothing unusual. It is sad how one individual can be both a great scientist and an insufferable cunt
On top of that, the US is able to test a lot of equipment in live conventional combat without needing to risk the lives of its own troops for a smaller cost than it normally would while degrading the combat capabilities of a rival for in excess of any degradation to the US.
I hope Professor Dave’s YouTube channel is well known, where sometimes idiots from the pseudoscientific environment are exposed. Eric Weinstein gets a few mentions there and will soon get his own debunking video. Let’s look forward to it.

I guess clearly Eric Weinstein is not intelligent when you consider he should know better. One can be smart and yet so dumb. He proved this theory correct.

I’m glad this guy Weinstein is happy to show off his ignorance to the world.
My question is why are they transferring tiny fraction of supply instead of at least reasonable support. And also putting unreasonable restrictions on its usage. Another question why Biden`s administration doesn`t even use rather small amount of money which they asked congress for – 7.8 billion on military aid. During 5 months they used only about 2 billion and the end of fiscal year in US is in 2 weeks. It doesn`t look like unwavering support but like a dirty political game.
Eric Weinstein doesn’t mean “And”. He means “Therefore”.
Eric believes that since he has no idea what we are doing in Ukraine, nobody else has any idea. Because clearly, nobody could be more intelligent than Eric Weinstein.
You have to remember Weinstein is speaking for himself and to his audience, and they legitimately do not have the capacity to understand vast swaths of easily verifiable information.
