Vistula isn’t overflowing, Wisła is actually in a state of drought, only south-western Poland is facing floods.

As some other people have said – the information about the situation in Poland isn’t really on point.
1. Even though the water levels in the upper Vistula have indeed risen significantly – it was clearly not the main problem. The main problem were the floods near the Oder river together with its tributaries – especially Nysa Kłodzka (and its tributaries) and to lesser extent – Bóbr. Therefore the worst flooding happened in the southern and central parts of Opole and Lower Silesian voivodeships.
2. The number of deaths in Poland is confirmed to be 6 but believed to be slightly higher. Probably the map is slightly outdated. A minor issue here.
3. That rainfall map also seems to be quite wrong. Even though I can’t say for sure – I am pretty convinced that Lower Silesian and Opole voivodeships got far more rain than what is shown here. I may be wrong, but I heavily doubt that I am.
But regardless of that – thanks for posting this. It was definitely a very important and sad event for all of us in this part of Europe.

Who has made this graphic?
Those are the rivers in the Oder basin that overflow left and right in Poland.
The Vistula? Overflowing? Wuuuut. There were places along the Vistula where you could see the bottom of it.
This is not over, all this water goes in to Danube and Romania, Serbia and Bulgaria will be affected.
Vistula? No, the Wisła is fine. It’s the Odra that’s high (not to mention all the other rivers south of there).
This map is so wrong, there has been heavy rain all around the Carpathian Basin and beyond, no way there were areas with 0 mm in the middle of it all.
