Even if she had been a spy, why kill her immediately? Surely someone would’ve liked to interrogate her about her plans and her associates first. Or use her to feed the enemy false information. Shouldn’t a cadet know this?
This corroborates with the news that the Russians are turning against each other like a bucket of crabs. But the bad part is that they’re doing their typical Russian thing and don’t direct their actions towards the source, the Kremlin mafia. Anyone brighter has probably already left the country if they’re able.
