      Sinn Fein might be surprised that a number of parties in Ireland also want a United Ireland

      The majority of the rest of the parties also have a better plan to Sinn Fein which seems to revolve around bickering with everyone and anyone, plus constantly reminding the population both sides of the border of the terrible history in Northern Ireladn which Sinn Fein want to try and glorify the deaths of people for their own publicity

      Bit of a a smarmy comment, she couldn’t just welcome the statement?

      It’s as if she thinks SF own Irish unification. Arguably FF (through Bertie, little shit that he otherwise is) did the most to progress Irish unification and those associated with SF have done the most to hold it back.

      Mary Lou is very funny at times. Leo however, he’s hungry to get his name into the history books.
      Regardless, yes, all parties North & South should be preparing for this discussion as well as an eventual Border poll. If a citizens assembly is called, I’d hope they have the foresight to invite a political retinue from the North as a wise showing of good faith.

      Dunno what she means by inner shinner, maybe chronic fence sitters might be a better word for it, except of course when they’re in government, then they’ll just as shit as FF/FG.

      Edit: except when it’s about Irish unification.
