Cosa devo tenere a mente? Cosa dovrei dirgli? Cosa suggerite # aggiornamento Grazie ragazzi, gli ho detto che a causa di problemi fiscali come l’evasione fiscale ecc. Non sono in grado di farlo…

Sounds like either a scam or money laundering to me. I would avoid it at all cost.

Have you actually met that “friend”? This looks as if tax evasion might be the *least* of your problems. I’d assume it to be a straight-up scam.

And no, you should *never* share accounts with someone, except when you have a proper shared bank account together with a partner or spouse whom you live with in real life.

If you create an account using your identity, everything that happens with that account will be assumed to have been done by *you*. And on the other hand, no person acting legitimately will try to have others make accounts for them.

    4. “I’m not comfortable with intermingling stuff related to taxes, finances, income and wealth with my personal and private life.

      Drop it.”

End of story. Don’t say “please”.

I would never ever do that, especially as it involves money and tax. At least German banks/brokers also always ask you something like: “Confirm that you’re acting on one’s own behalf and not on behalf of someone else”. Although this company there does not look like it’s from Germany, this question generally makes sense everywhere.

Nope. I wouldn’t even do that for close friends or family.

If it’s your account, you are usually not allowed to share it. Should be in the small print.

Also, do you know why your friend is unable to open an account for themselves?

I wouldn’t do it and tell him, “in Germany I guess all activities come with a lot of responsibilities and also TAX etc, I do not want the hassle.” I found that “No thanks, I worry about the tax” works very well when looking for a polite way to dodge a shady financial deal. (At least in Germany.)

      As a former bank employee.

This is an absolutely unmistakable NO !

Most likely this will result in a charge because of money laundering or tax evasion. That’s the only thing, Providers of such accounts do with it.

    9. Have you thought for a single second why banks do a kyc and why he can’t do it?
