Fun fact: if your SwissPass picture edges on the side of lower resolution, it seems that SwissPass will apply AI upscaling to it—with all the bias that comes with it.
I am sharing two telling details of my original picture vs. SwissPass enhancement: fuller, pinker lips, no mole, and my deep brown eyes now much lighter (original eye picture absent for privacy).
I have mixed feelings about this. I realize they thought it may be helpful to just upscale my picture without asking me to upload another. However, it is slightly embarrassing to now have a SwissPass that looks as if I blatantly uploaded a selfie that was passed through a beautifying filter, which also is not doing wonders for my own self-confidence.
Moreover, I think users should be able to object to AI procedsing of their likeness.
