Qualcuno può spiegarmi cosa fa questa macchina nella lavanderia? L’introduzione che ho visto sul sito ufficiale è “Perinteinen kiinteistöpesulan kolmitelainen kylmämankeli”, ma quando viene tradotta in inglese come “Ancora fredda tradizionale a tre spire per la pulizia delle proprietà”, continuo a non capirla. Ma mi sembra che sia arrotolato per asciugare i panni o i tappeti? Qualcuno può spiegare nel dettaglio la sua vera funzione? Forse è una domanda stupida, ma non ho mai usato una macchina del genere.

this is used to fold your sweaters so they fit in a *really* small space!
The English translation I found for the name of the apparatus is ‘mangle’.
It is used to smooth out bed sheets. Kind of like ironing, but with pretty much just applying pressure and if I remember right, a tiny amount of moisture. (not sure on the latter one).
Smaller versions were available for use in apartments. My childhood home had one.
