>The American technology company Google has started the construction of a second data center in Belgium. The new site is located in the Walloon Farciennes, one of the poorest municipalities in the country.
>The new American investment brings the total amount invested by Google in Hainaut to 5 billion euros.
>The permit is subject to conditions, including those regarding the environment and mobility. For example, Google will install solar panels on the roof of the building. The heat produced by the center ends up in the local district heating network.
>According to Google, the new data center will create a hundred jobs. These are in addition to the four hundred jobs that Google says it has already created in our country.
