Very successful scheme this, and it’s rare I’d want to give government any plaudits. Few moaners down the back thankfully didn’t derail its success.
I love seeing the new workforce, grabby extension in hand. One of them has been begging locally for years. Looks a lot happier now doing what he does and personally I’ve yet to see bins torn apart and left in a mess.
Keep the machines in service, charging us enough for the deposits.
So, the world didn’t end then?
