I think its great. This will make it easier for me to choose my next dishwasher, since there is one less brand to choose from.
It has not begun, it is going full force. I have all house appliances from VZug and when you connect them in the app, it let’s you know for some that some programs are only available if you pay for a subscription, which is the most stupid thing and should be forbidden.
You buy a device, you should be able to use everything that it allows. It shouldn’t be allowed to hide internal programs, that the machine can perform behind a paywall.
I wonder how they, after long discussions and analyses, came to the conclusion that this is a good idea.
