just in case people will bring up the Irish famine or the Bengal famine
Ireland endured a famine similar to Holodomor, and it also recognizes the Holodomor as a genocide
and in UK, the MP who called for the recognition of Holodomor as a genocide is herself of Bengali descent: Nadia Whitome

all 3 should be recognised as genocides : the Irish famine, Holodomor and the Bengal famine

As a Spaniard, I have to admit I had no idea about this particular event
For those wondering; In Finland (and I believe the other Nordics as well) wether something is a genocide or not is generally left to academia and experts, not politics.
And Russia still denies that ever happend.
Like the partition of Poland with the 3rd Reich in 1939…
