I’m guessing the smell of Poland he could smell all the way from the UK base kept him in good spirits!

The Poles fought very hard trying to liberate my country from the Germans. Yet they we’re blamed for the failure of operation Market Garden by the British.
It wasn’t till 2006 then Queen Beatrix did publicly speak out.
Thank you brave Poles.
