What does it even mean to ‘feel left out of society’?

I mean, who wouldn’t love to partecipate in the absolutely awesome 21st century Western society where costs keep rising, the environment is fucked beyong belief, politics gives zero shits about you, real-life social interactions are dimishing in favour of corporate-controlled virtual ones, money rules everything, workers are squeezed dry…
But hey, the neolibs said we have iPad and we can travel to Paris for chrap so everything’s okay.

In Serbia, and Montenegro, we say “People can’t forgive your success.” I guess it’s true.

Poland is doing something right in a lot of areas right now

In the UK the education system is crap, and if you’re someone who requires a little extra attention (because of special needs) you will be ignored or discarded. UK schools only care about the top performing students because it boosts the schools image and this gets them more funding.

Why did people all over reddit start using “Persons” instead of “people”? Did i miss something? Is it an inside joke?

Poland with the lowest bars on the chart meaning that Poles are doing it right when it comes for empathy and societal acceptance makes me feel proud to be Polish.

Very interresting mix of countries on the top. Usually don’t see them grouped together.

That is just sad.. and very problematic if it keeps rising.
Secondary education professions are really not appreciated anymore and they are the most needed..
Unfortunately people with primary school have always been neglected the most..
Shows just how much this is going in the wrong direction.

Wait. Finland has the happiest people and more than 50% of people in Finland feel left out of society? I guess society is the problem then.

For many in America, ignorance is a goal.

Some additional context to Poland:
1. Tertiary schools were a deal for the older side of society (boomers) as they had no real chance to go for it as the amount of universities were limited and it was extremally hard to get to one of those without proper support.
2. That resulted in high pressure on millennials to go for it as it was way more easy to get accepted. The overall process resulted with more and more universities to open. That led to supply issue as those schools are very accessible to anyone now.
3. The general consensus is Poland is that school is something mandatory and thats it. Some of them are better but overall this is not optional. There are ofc people who were not able to finish primary but thats my next point:
4. Why we do not judge? At the very end, no one is interested in your school papers. People take it as granted that you at least finished secondary, and when it is not a case, we still do not judge. Thats becouse if you couldn’t do it, it was not your fault – for 90% of population (assumption). It was either environment, exclusion, disabilities. Even if someone is just stupid – thats it.
I have not been asked about my degree for many many years now. There is just not much of social pressure and this applies to job as well. There are still ofc positions that requires a degree to even apply. Most of other jobs can take experience eq/personal talent as one.
Side story: when i was on dating app in Germany, about 60% of people had some sort of degree requirement/value. It is quite an opposite here
