I’m a section 39 worker , got an email from my union 45 mins ago to say that talks had broke down again . We’ve been informed
“Regretfully those in attendance, on behalf of government,
advised the unions they had no mandate to address the issue of pay parity”
This has been the 3rd or 4th meeting g over the last few months and again nothing from the goveemnet . I have literally had to cancel supports for people with disabilities as a result of this.
It’s shocking really . Fair play to that last for saying it because this government has done very little to improve the lives of people with disabilities.
