      Grange Strand, Fethard on Sea.

About a year ago the sea decided the railings on the slipway were better off bent. The force required to unzip steel like this would be like getting hit by a train.

Around the same time the sea came up and treated the fence as a suggestion, there’d been some heavy rain. Walking down the slipway I hard some funny noises from the cliff.

No sooner had I reached the bottom than the soil above gave way and dropped a couple of tons of earth and rock onto the slipway where I’d been standing a couple of minutes before.

Yous could’ve been spared my bullshit for the last year, but for the grace of God.

“The sea was angry that day my friends”

Without Googling – who’s going to identify the immortal words above?

    3. My favourite beach in Ireland, Coumeenole on the Dingle Peninsula (it’s the one you see in the movie “Ryan’s Daughter”) just got washed away one day during a storm. People woke up, and the beach was gone. Nature is scary.

Aye!. Lost my son to the sea back in 89.

Found him 10 mins later down at the swing boats, but still…
