      a museum, an attraction park

      a place where you go look at old stuff while on holiday

      not a place for innovation but for reminiscing about the past

      The 800 year old timber construction that held the roof is lost forever, built by craftsmen in the middle ages. That is sad in a way that the reconstruction doesn’t change.

      Maybe I’m wrong, but when I see all these smartasses and virtue signalers in the comments saying something along the lines of “waste of money and resources”, I can’t help but think that those exact people would be the first ones to say something like “Europe has no culture” as well.

      Would rather have had the firefighters doing what they could to save the cathedral walking around there at this event than a political figure.. Politicians should stay away from religion and vice verca.

      Over a billion Euro was raised for the restoration of this historical church. Thank God they kept with the original look.

      As someone that still holds to the faith and donated to see it restored, I’m overjoyed to see it being completed.
