For all the people coming to the comments to see what the ‘Celtic curse’ is

      >For those of Irish heritage, however, a disease known as haemochromatosis, a condition which sees the body store too much iron, can over time lead to a build-up of iron deposits on the organs.

      >This can result in health complications later in life, including cirrhosis or liver cancer and heart issues. And yet despite its prevalence, the condition continues to be little known.

I know a few people who have this. There’s a thesis in this for someone, mapping the correlation to Irish language populations.

The big Irish spud head is the true Celtic curse.

Don’t know how it works. I can alway recognise Irish people abroad and it’s not because of obvious tells like sun burn or GAA shorts. We have big square heads and its the way we carry them too.

Yeah, its the production of iron in the males.
You need regular transfusions but the joints of the body just fall apart as over production of iron is toxic in men.
Not funny, real issue and life limiting

It’s a lack of naturally occurring alcohol in the bloodstream

    7. Too many pints of Guinness has us fucked. Pure curse, but a great night was had by all.
