      I’ve received this multiple times too and have been suspicious. I am curious how it works though. What happens if you respond?

      I know it is a scam, but can anybody explain how this specific scam works? Since they already have the number of the potential victim, why do they want the victim to contact them via WhatsApp? Why don’t they start the conversation via WhatsApp?
      And what will be the outcome in the end?

      Man, yours too? My daughter seems to get a new phone every other day. I’m getting tired of sending that same WhatsApp message all the time. I wish she’d take better care of her stuff. smdh

      I’ve received a couple with “Hallo Papa/Mama”, apart from those split 50-50 between “Papa” and “Mama” (I’m neither anyway…). Properly identified and blocked by Google’s filter, but I still get to review them and have a laugh.

      Glad I have a Google Pixel. I don’t get those messages because Google filters them out as spam

      I get this at least twice a week.

      Sometimes when I’m bored, I get into a pointless, circular discussion with them.
