      There is one Armenian homeland and it is in Armenia. Syria and what have you — these are lost causes. It is better to cut your losses, emigrate, and defend that land than to shed blood for a soil that is already drenched in it and not yours anyways.

      OP, can you provide a link to the statement? Kurdish “rule” is not an accurate term by the way.

I know we have our differences with the Kurds, particularly with the genocide and the ongoing claim on our historical homelands, however for me, they are vastly different than Turks, and I view most them genuinely positive, and believe that if one day a nation of Kurdistan forms, Armenians are unlikely to be discriminated like in Turkey, or Israel.

      My sentiment is based on the fact that they accepted and apologized for the Armenian genocide several times by different groups, and this, allowing us to form our own group.
