Once I was approached on Grindr by a Russian man, (before the Ukraine invasion). I asked him, wasn’t he scared to live in Russia as a gay man? His response was very typical arrogant Russian, denying that there was any homophobia problem in Russia and bragging about all the gay clubs and venues there were. I wonder how that’s working out for him now..
