    1. pues la verdad no suelo estar a favor de las últimas leyes y políticas que ha implementado pero a esta no le veo ni un solo problema.

      Average salary Spain 25k.

      Mortgage 4.5 x salary = 112.5k

      Deposit 20% = 22,500

      Transfer tax 10% = 12,250.

      Legal fees = 1125

      Notary = 550.

      Don’t think foreigners buying 500k+ houses, then paying spains extortionate taxes afterwards, are the source of the problems here. Most Spanish employees pay less in tax than they consume in services, high earners and foreign investment are a net positive to the economy. They’re not using the state health service, public schools, or claiming government assistance etc.

      Build more social/affordable housing, everyone is taxed to death, there should be money for it.

    3. I was just in the middle of purchasing a property and applying for this. What do I do now?

      Finally! And what a farce to call buying a property an investment, lunacy!

      We need investment in startups and tech, not in dead end industries like tourism and luxury real estate.

      empty promise.
      the current government is in a deadlock without chances of approving new laws, and in the mids of a corruption case, so media PR is all they can currently do
