Some dog owners just don’t care whose livelihood they destroy.
Some dog owners need to have a serious reality check with themselves. Having a dog on a leash in public should be held to the similar ethics as needing a piss in public
Plenty of sheep farmers would just shoot the dog, it’s not nice but understandable.
As an owner of 2 dogs, im in 2 minds, the person saud they suspect it was an off leash dog but dienst have much proof other then dog owners use the trail. On the other hand I know too many twats that would let there angel dogs off leash and not say anything if their dog did something like this.
All dogs should be kept on leash, it doesn’t matter if they are friendly, it doesn’t matter if they are friendly and / or there recall is “perfect.” Fact if the matter is, you don’t have control over your animal. Only off leash time in the public should be in a designated off leash dog park or on private secured property.
Another fukknut who believes their dog is special and would never do such a thing. No doubt the farmer will close off access to the trail now.
