      RFI wire:

*[…] “It’s the first time we can say ‘Assad is no longer here’, I can’t even describe the joy,” said a Syrian woman [in Paris], her voice hoarse from shouting. “But for once we can say Assad no longer rules over us. The Assad family is no more.”*

*[…] There were similar sentiments in Germany, home to more than a million Syrians – the largest diaspora in the European Union.*

*Most of them are asylum seekers who fled the civil war that began in 2011 when Assad crushed a peaceful, pro-democracy uprising.*

*More than half a million people have been killed since then and close to 12 million others forced to flee their homes.*

*[…] Whether on demos in Paris, Berlin or other cities like Madrid, Athens and London, many Syrians insist Assad must be held accountable for killing and torturing his own people.*

*The Revivre association helping refugees and political prisoners in Syria, and that organised the demonstration in Paris, said there should be no impunity for war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in Syria.*

Does anyone understand who is actually in power in Syria now?

After enjoying living in the democratic and free West for years now they will take this knowledge back to Syria and start rebuilding their country… right?

Now they need to go home or their bitching was all a lie.

Lets hope for democratic elections in Syria so all can return home.

They are joyful because of incoming Shariah laws and niqabs. People like them put Erdogan in power-from Germany… That’s disgusting.

Thwre was a fucking civil war and right now there are various war factions

But apparently they can all return home peacefully even though no one here knows what is happening or will happen 🤦‍♂️

Ok so are they going back to Syria ? If not stop cheering and clean the mess you surely made.

I really hope that “18 months to have actual free elections” is true, but I ain’t holding my breath.

Europe is infested with al-Qaeda and ISIS supporters and you think this is something to celebrate lol.

And once they are done celebrating they can return and start rebuilding their country.
