      I don’t really care about the dates. Seems like a mix up. I’m more concerned that a TD for the Social Democrats worked for a company started by Peter Thiel. He’s pure fucking scum

      I thought the fuss was he said he divested the shares a year earlier, not a month?

      Honestly it’s a great day for everyone.

      The Social Democrats get to virtue-signal.

      Sinn Féin get to seeeeeeeethe.

      Everyone the SDs lectured about not being pure enough get to giggle about them basically electing an IDF TD.

      Deputy Hayes gets €300k for selling his shares and a half million euro (plus expenses and travel) in taxpayers money during the 34th Dáil but he doesn’t have to do any boring shite like being on a Committee.

      All the 🇯🇴🍈 types might get a march out of it on Saturday.

      His constituents still get three other TDs to represent them.

      Next week there will be a ‘scandal’ because one of the party leaders farted while walking down the stairs and this will require a full investigation into their belligerent disregard for the general publics’ right to clean and breathable air. What a pedantic, unappeasable little runt of a country Ireland has become.

      He stated 23 times! in the interview that he diverted before becoming a councillor in June. Which was just not true.

      He could have said, I started the divestment when I got elected or something like that. And story is one headline and water under the bridge.

      He also said he diverted when he heard about the deal between the company and Israel, which he admitted 4 hours later was a lie.

      I admit, this is all a nonsense story, an August story if you will, but the deputy and the party can’t blame anyone else but themselves.

      Again, its a bullshit story that people are latching onto. Most people on here working for a multinational are directly working with Israel in some capacity. Anyone giving out about him selling his investments is either jealous or is talking complete shite. He fudged a date, get over it.

      Another reason not to to have this bunch of flakes anywhere near government, pathetic. He sold shares so bloody what , yeah it wasn’t entirely accurate account ,he either forgot or paniced knowing the mob that occupies the rarified air that comes with Soc Dem level virtue signalling would eat him alive because “OMG Israel!” But seriously folks grow a pair! Keep them away from serious business of government,nothing but a bad bunch of student union activists .
