Toont aan hoeveel marge ze eigenlijk namen als ze zomaar iedereen hun maandelijkse data kunnen verdubbelen zonder de prijs te moeten verhogen.
Nog steeds te duur, hey telecom geeft 80gb voor €14.
Bij Digi is 30 GB 14 euro. Dus nog steeds goedkoper, en ik steun liever Digi als de providers ons al jaren te veel laten betalen.
Toont ook weer hoe ass onze providers zijn.
Hun onderlinge concurrentie heeft er niet voor gezorgd dat ze hun prijzen verlagen, komt er een nieuwkomer en ze schijten in hun broek. Pure maffia!
Switched to the 15€/month subscription instantly. Still 1€ more. Sad knowing they had this much cost margin though…

Na 15 jaar klant bij Orange, geswitched naar DIGI.
8G for 15€ for their “data only” card makes no sense now

Na 2,5j viking ben ik overgestapt. Digi en Mobile Vikings gebruiken beiden het Proximus netwerk, verbinding zal dus wel hetzelfde zijn.

Ik denk dat veel mensen overwegen om over te schakelen naar DIGI. Dus de 3 grote spelers mogen schrik hebben.
Hey is also dropping their prices to basically match, but will still switch to Digi as a (symbolic) middle finger to Orange.
Hier net van Orange naar Hey! Gegaan, 11 euro naar 9 euro en 12GB meer data, bellen en sms’en doe ik nooit dus die unlimited die ik verlies stoort me niet.
Verder ons vast internet ook van Orange naar Hey veranderd, en Ik ga kijken om m’n vrouw naar digi te veranderen. Het zal ons op jaarbasis 252 euro schelen.

Ze konden dan beter de prijs halveren.
Denk niet dat ik de enige ben die nu denk dat dubbel data te veel is en net daarom zal overschakelen naar Digi omdat het dataplan niet meer voldoet aan de noden van gebruikers
Blijkbaar nog niet voor hun maandelijkse “top up” voorbetaalde abbonementen.
I have Digi in Romania for 2 euros/month since 10 years ago. the plan claims unlimited data, but if you read the fineprint it’s 200 GB (after which they throttle your speed, never reached this cap though so no complaints here, heavy duty downloads are for the PC with fixed broadband).
hope this new competition in Belgium will kill the artificial bandwidth cap grift once and for all.
it’s a bit insane to me that a Romanian telecom company can disrupt so many national markets. well, I could understand Spain and Italy since there’s a ton of Romanians there and there’s already a brand recognition and expectations set from the home country.

Nice try. De dag dat Digi internet aanbied ben ik ook weg. Lang genoeg teveel betaald. Ik heb dan nog liever dat m’n geld naar Roemenie gaat dan die bandieten nog iets te gunnen. ‘k Zal dan wel nen euro meer belasting betalen :p
Schandalig dat dat blijkbaar geen moeite is voor hun, dus wij betalen al jaren teveel.
Ik stap over naar digi gewoon uit principe

Came here to check if someone else had already posted it. I have been waiting for this moment since they were authorized as operators in Belgium. Next months will be fun to watch, maybe not for the Belgian telecom cartel

To late, they been screwing us for decades now, the moment i can dump my current provider i will, just to make a point.
Datalimieten zijn sowieso belachelijk. Ik betaal in Ierland 20 euro per maand bij Virgin Media en da’s ongelimiteerd.
België is echt zo achterlijk als het daarop aankomt.

I went from 85GB to 170GB. I barely use half of the 85GB, so it’s a useless bump. Would’ve rather seen them lower the price of my subscription.
I don’t speak Dutch, so sorry if anyone covered this already. But FYI I had a prepaid plan with Mobile Vikings for ages where the data was “free” and you paid for calling credit. Since I basically never called anyone, by the time I decided to switch providers a couple of months ago, I had over 300€ calling credit with them. Legally, they have to refund that to you as cash when you leave, you literally just have to ask them for it, it was super easy.
Ironic how i probably would have never considered canceling my mobile vikings subscription until I got this message. It led me to this post and now im considering digi. Are there any catches?
Oh wow, wat een wonder dat plots bij een nieuwe speler op de markt data toch niet zo duur lijkt te zijn als providers altijd beweerde?!?! Wie had dat ooit kunnen denken????
Ze zijn nog steeds duurdere dan digi na deze maand verander ik nr digi 5 ipv 10 euro per maand en meer data bel/sms

As a Romanian who’s lived in Brussels for 4 years, I’m so happy for you guys!
I kept my DIGI subscription from back home the whole time I was there even though I had to pay some roaming fees above a certain internet usage. Most of the time, it was cheaper to just stick to this than pay the horrible prices the Belgian cartel proposed to me.
Belgian telecom is one of those things that have you wonder: is it ALL just cartels and collusion? It’s just that this is more obvious than the others?
Just two days after Digi entered the market, I received a letter from orange that they would raise the price of their subscriptions.
I Already switched one of the four subscriptions of my household to Digi. The only downside appears that they currently don’t offer 5G, but I can live with that.
If I’m satisfied, the three other subscriptions will follow next month…
