      Second i have heard music my grandfather listen to from the 40s that still sounded the same as this. This music is not exclusive to Armenians or Azeris or Persians. We all literally have the same source material after 1k years lol

      I like Yaqubov’s music, but if anything he has clearly been influenced (and infuriated back) the Armenian Shanson/Blatnoi singners of Baku. Like Boka. He is a good example of how music evolves and it doesn’t care about your ethnicity. Being influenced is normal in music especially when we live in the same region.
