Oggi potremmo vedere la Corsica ad occhio nudo, a quasi 200 km di distanza! È visibile solo in inverno dopo forti venti (come quello di questa settimana), grazie all’effetto miraggio, altrimenti sarebbe rimasto nascosto dietro la curvatura della terra.

Saw it from Tete de chien clear as day, and then from Maraterra at sunset!
You can see it all the time in the winter from higher up, when the air is less humid – there is no mystery and I think it’s less than 200km
Visible in the morning with the sunrays.
