Councillors de-zoned this land last month but it appears construction work has started.
I drove past it a few times this week and hadn’t noticed.
Get it built. F*ck the NIMBYs.
That must be where the new world order are putting all the military aged males and 5G towers.
We really can’t get out of our own way when it comes to housing people that need it, can we?
Is it a standard five year grant of planning? Given the size of the development it may have been for longer. The article isn’t clear on that, just quoting a local rep who says it “could” have just 22 days remaining.
If it is a five year, hard to see how the developer will manage to get substantial works completed in time (especially this time of year) to go for an extension on that basis.
