Wonder if it’s a repeat of the naval missile stockpile explosion that occurred in 1984.
I am guessing that if this is Ukraine’s work, they would not be targeting the fleet but rather the Severomorsk-1 air base just a few miles south of town. This is a huge bomber base, and is probably used by the strategic bombers that launch cruise missiles at Ukraine. Much more relevant target than the naval base.
