Didn’t Orbán say that Romania’s election was a testing ground for something? Hungarians, expect the unexpected.

I wouldn’t be surprised if, in the last 2-3 weeks of the campaign, a new party that’s ‘anti-system’ and ‘anti-war’ were to emerge via TikTok and social media, gaining just enough traction to give Fidesz a majority in the parliament.

    2. Yeah, this is how polls work. People don’t care about the election that will happen in two years…

New polls drop all the time, and sometimes Orban is clearly leading, while in others Tisza has much bigger support than him. Can people from Hungary explain the differences? Are the ones with Orban leading done by state media? Are the ones with Tisza leading more legit? Or is it more likely they’re rather presented to motivate the population?

Worth noting that Fidesz got so low in opposition polls because they cant stop getting into scandals. Just today they destroyed food and toys given to orphans by Péter Magyar and Tisza, while one of their higher ups, Máté Kocsis joked about the Magdeburg attack, saying that the victims families got “their corpses under their christmas trees”. And thats just today

I know it’s just a poll, but if this was an election outcome, what would the government look like?

Few years ago there were 50% Fidesz and 50% opposition in polls and the result was 60% for Fidesz so…

Nézőpont is funded by FIDESZ. Medián is the most trustworthy poller we have here.

nézőpont is very very biased towards fidesz, medián is slightly biased towards the opposition, medián is definitely closer to reality though 1000 respondents gives u a 4-5% uncertainty rate (i think)

Fidesz cannot allow their supporters, or the undeclared demographic to see numbers that suggest that there is a chance they might lose. A big part of them keeping power was the apathy they managed to inflict on Hungarian society. “Why bother voting, Fidesz gonna win and anyway, all the alternatives are a joke.” So they make these “alternative” polls and only show that through the media, which was bought up in bulk by fidesz oligarchs.

    10. I hope other parties withdraw strategically as to present a unified front against Fidez.

Next elections in 2026, so this is completely irrelevant data.

Those polls can go either way in 1.5 years.

So with that in mind, Hungarians please try to free yourself from Orban. Talk to you friends, family and others to not vote for Orban.

THis is actually just straight propaganda, please do not believe the above poll.

I have a feeling Orban is going to “rig” the elections in order to stay in power.

    14. Medián is the one, which is more trustworthy, it is independent and better at its job!

Love how Fidesz’ party colours are orange but in this poll they’re black because they are le evil bad guys. Straight propaganda

Time to overthrow dictator Victor, we need American F-16 freedom at his house.

Polls show whatever the poll makers wanna show. Government close orgs put Fidesz high above, opposition affiliates ones tend to benefit their preferred parties. Generally Median is seen as the neutral standard.

Reality is, Orbán – and in extension the party – is scared. They have way more data beyond what they can legally get, and their internal polls are made with far deeper funds than a 1000 respondent survey costs. They know exactly what’s going on, down to every individual town.

And whatever they know, it results in Fidesz is doing everything they can to keep the power while they’re trying to handle an economic crisis. And yet, they refuse to acknowledge the game. The way gov looks at it, it’s an Orban v Magyar fight. Destroy Magyar’s image and it’s settled. They call Magyar the Messiah, try to portray this movement as a personality cult and his followers as sheep. It’s fundamentally wrong, that’s what Orbán is, that’s what the previous administration was, but not Tisza. Hell, most of Magyar’s voters don’t even like the guy (me included). He’s just a tool, that carries the voice of hatred and disappointment towards a government that failed us, despite having complete legislative control for 14 years. At this point, people wouldn’t care if he’s Satan himself. You just can’t win in chess when you’re playing checkers.
