“High Speed”. It takes 8 hours
At top speed this train should cover the entire route in 5 hours.
Renfe from Barcelona to Madrid takes only 2.5 hour – 620km!
It’s really not high speed at all, but hopefully a good sign of things to come.
ICE is a high speed train but most routes through western germany are not allowed to pass in high speed
Price is 124€ on Tuesday the 24th. I think it is OK.
