E il mio bisnonno (suo padre) aveva passaporto bulgaro, carta d’identità e aveva finito la scuola durante il dominio bulgaro, è ancora cittadino bulgaro e dove posso dimostrare che ce l’avevano? (Tutti i loro documenti personali sono bruciati, negli archivi bulgari non hanno documenti ecclesiastici, in Macedonia hanno un registro ma non permettono di prendere l’originale e hanno fornito solo informazioni. What do you need Bulgarian citizenship for if you’re not a Bulgarian? Do you plan to move to Bulgaria and work? 😏
You need to go to the village where they were born and ask from the bishop if they have their birth certificate based on that you can but it’s very hard with the new 2021 rules.
You just need to go to Bulgaria, wait in line, and tell the lady that you feel Bulgarian and that you feel like subtly giving her 300 euros in a folded piece of paper. Good luck.
