Here comes the great game lol. Greenland is in a prime position to exploit this whole “Trump wants to buy Greenland” spat.
Granted, I think it would be a great idea for the US to hold Greenland (not accounting for Denmark’s interests). It is in such a marvelous strategic location when the North Pole will melt even further.
That being said, obviously this will never happen. Denmark is a wealthy country, member of EU and of NATO. Only way to realistically take it is by force, and that would be invading an ally, which is crazy

Why cant the US just buy a plot for their military base there like they have done a hundred different places ?
