Goddammit I love the Finns, never going to admit it in person though they are smug enough as it is (sports related).

      Merry Christmas from Roslagen, Finland.

The more I hear about Finland, the more I realise that I should really move there.

Yeah this is called “Raskasta Joulua” which translates to “Heavy Christmas”. It’s on every year with good Finnish metal artists.

The worldplay is funny since Rauhallista means to have a peaceful christmas, and Raskasta means heavy.

20 years next year! My first concert was in 2008 and it blew my f***ing socks off. Still does. There have been magnificent artists and performances over the years.

One might remember that some of the performers started a group called Northern Kings and released cover songs. They tried to the Eurovision contest with [their cover of Take on me](https://youtu.be/GkHJRrMwmSQ?si=mhCPrVzMVS3cxjN8), but they didn’t win the Finnish qualification and there’s a rule, that you cannot participate with a cover song in the Eurovision. But nevertheless for any metalhead out there I highly recommend listening to that song.

Meanwhile, Brazil gets the same guy (singer Roberto Carlos) every year for the past 50 years. Even the songs are the same…
