    1. Can I just say that I hate humans, this world and how we treat each other?

So many lives, energy, money and brain power wasted on fighting each other. And that for thousands of years.

Why can’t we all get along and push / strive towards a common goal?

Reading about wars and religious fights and all that daily is so annoying.

Lithuania is set to enhance electronic surveillance
systems at four border stations along its frontier with Russia, thanks to €15 million in funding from the European Commission. The upgrades are expected to begin next year and be completed by 2027. These improvements will bolster monitoring capabilities at the Rociškės, Vištytis, Viešvilė, and Plaškiai border stations, covering a total distance of over 113 kilometres.

This funding from the European Commission is part of a larger €170 million package aimed at strengthening border surveillance in six EU member states that border Russia and Belarus in response to concerns over irregular migration. Lithuania had also requested additional funding for nine other stations, which are currently on a reserve list pending further resources from the EU.

This initiative comes as Lithuania is facing a significant increase in irregular migrants, primarily from Belarus, which Western nations accuse of orchestrating migration flows since 2021. Since August 2021, Lithuanian authorities have reported over 22,900 attempted illegal crossings and have actively turned away migrants at non-designated entry points more than 1,000 times this year.
