In the notebook of the North Korean special forces officer killed in Kurshchyna, he writes how to hunt down a Ukrainian drone live.

In his notebook, private Hyong Hong Jong, when he was still alive before the meeting with the SSO operators, wrote down tactics for shooting down UAVs and hideouts from Ukrainian artillery.

At the moment, it is not known whether this is an authentic North Korean tactic, or whether they were taught this way by the Russians. But this tactic uses live bait.

Read the full transcript of another entry from a trophy notebook, which was obtained in Kurshchyna by operators of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The record is completed with illustrations from a soldier of the SoF of the DPRK:

“How to eliminate a drone.

**When detecting a drone, you need to create a trio (3 people), while the one who lures the drone keeps a distance of 7 meters, and those who shoot – 10-12 meters.**

**If the “lure” stands still, the drone will also stop its movement. At this moment, the one who shoots — eliminates (the drone).**

How to avoid the zone of artillery fire

In the case of falling into the firing zone, having designated the next meeting point (group), you need to separate into small groups and leave the firing zone.

Another way: since the artillery does not fire at the same point, you can hide at the point of (previous) impact and then get out of the firing zone.”

There was already a video recently of (supposedly) 2 NK soldiers several feet apart getting harrassed by a Ukrainian drone. The “shooter” ended up shooting the “bait”
