They live in the soil of house plants. There nematodes you can order online that help somewhat reliably

Fungus gnats and they’re common pretty much everywhere. A plant/the soil is likely what brought them in. They die if you let your plants dry out fully. If you don’t want to risk that I recommend treating them with nematodes.

Might be “trauermücken” which like to live in the soil of houseplants.

I’ve had the best success at combating them using nematodes. They can be bought, added to water, and will then kill off the fly larva.

Probably fungus gnats (Trauermücken). Got an infestation of them a while back. They love damp earth, a couple of my house plants were full of them. Take a look at yours. If it’s real bad, you’ll easily see a bunch of them crawling around in and out of the pot and flying around that plant.

First thing to do would be to not water that plant (so much). Let it dry. The wetter it gets, the more they will multiply. Also get yellow stickers to place in the pots to catch them. If that’s not enough, there are some other remedies you can try, natural or chemical. Some said tea tree oil can help, haven’t tried that though.

Agree with the diagnoses. The nematodes are super effective, I get mine from Amazon for a couple of euro.

    6. You can also get yellow sticky sheets from dm which will attract them and help a lot to reduce the amount of it.

Probably Trauermücken, put a layer of sand on your potted plants and hang up a few yellow traps. Should get rid of em in a few weeks.
