      People here saying that he does not look well as if a soldier who’s been fighting on the front for weeks or months and has been captured, presumably after battle would *ever* ‘well’. He is no indicator for life in NK, there are better sources than this.

      They should grant him automatic asylum in South Korea. Distribute leaflets to the front line, in Korean, that all North Korean deserters will get the same..

      I’d recover and then defect if I were him. I doubt NK forces would welcome him back with open arms after the exchange.
