Abbiamo appena ricevuto questa e-mail di marketing dalla Danske Bank dopo la nascita di nostro figlio. Non siamo clienti. Possono accedere e utilizzare i dati del registro della popolazione per scopi di marketing? Il governo sta vendendo questi dati alle aziende? Non è questo contro il GDPR?

      I got a package from Mehiläinen about children related services ( it had some leaflets and a pair of socks) and then another ad for having baby’s account opened from OP. The OP one mentioned that they got info from population extract.

      The letter should mention where they got your info from.

      Of course your personal information is sold for marketing, always has been.

      I found that they got the data from Population registry. I remember disabling it from DVV but my wife didn’t. Still, It is very predatory on the citizens that these settings come pre-selected that can be used for marketing.

      It’s not against GDPR, you can however block the selling of your data by letting digi ja väestöliitto know

      The government does in fact sell your personal data from the population registry for marketing purposes. I don’t believe it’s against GDPR, but you can of course always challenge it’s legality.

      But anyway, you can ban this in suomi.fi.
