His dream lives on, for prosperity, freedom, and European security.
Seems like the current EU is very far from the vision he had. Pretty much zero federal power, economic policies are all over the place, and don’t even get started on foreign policy or “being capable of military action”. The common currency seems to be the only thing realized from his vision.
