Quindi… sono piuttosto confuso a riguardo. Ho una patente internazionale che posso usare all’estero, però quando sono arrivato qui mi è stato detto qualcosa che va contro quello che ho scoperto da solo.
Il documento specifico in mio possesso è quello della Patente di Guida Internazionale della Convenzione di Ginevra del 19 settembre 1949.
Se guardi cosa dice su Wikipedia:
La Bulgaria riconosce questo permesso. Tuttavia, ho un amico della polizia stradale qui in Bulgaria che mi ha detto che se mi avessero visto con questo, lo avrei fatto "problemi." Comunque non so cosa fare… se è legale, se non lo è… ho provato anche a contattare un avvocato e non sembrava sapere esattamente di cosa stavo parlando.
Qualcuno qui sa qualcosa sulla sua validità in Bulgaria?

Im 99.9% sure it will be okay. If I were you I would call some of the big car rental companies and ask them, you can pretend you’re planning to get a car from them and are researching
You mean to drive only with this document instead of your driving licence? If so, then this won’t work and It seems like you’re planning to do illegal stuff.
If you ask if you need to have this with you coupled with your licence since you’re not from an EU country – then yes, you need to show this permit to the traffic police if checked. I had friends from abroad that always had their permit with them. If you’re from an EU country and/or with an EU licence I don’t think you need it.
