If they are able to publish the contents of the email why can’t they publish his name?
Have the ‘bin companies’ lost revenue since the scheme was incepted? Surely they’ll make more hauling the compressed returns from all the machine locations to recycling centres.
If people really wanted to protest this scheme I’d recommend depositing less than €1 worth of bottles/cans, present the receipt at the tills and ask for the cash. Then just keep repeating this. If enough people do it then it won’t be long until the shops get fed up with it.
