Looks like it’s time for Stoßlüften
Home sweet home 𝄞 🎶
Meanwhile, living in a 600-year old Fachwerk house means running the heater all the time in winter.
Im not using much heating ( technically “2” setting @ 19C) and the apartment is always at 20/21C.
I find it very comfortable. I’m only concerned somewhat about mold. But I do my fair share of proper Stoßlüften
How warm it is in summers, when the outisde temperature is 25°C or more?
No heating neighbors?
This is the reason why heating costs are mostly distributed by square meters and your usage of heating (50/50 to 30/70).
All the other tenants are heating their flat and they are heating your flat, too!
I couldn’t bear that kind of heat in winter. 19.5°C is perfect for me.
26 degrees is way way too hot for me.
You’re living there for a longer time already? Wondering how your energy bill looks like. Heating costs are partly split between tenants (the 50/50, 30/70 thing).
Where did you find the sun?
Same with me, I don’t using heating (I randomly turn it on for an hour somedays to make sure it is working) and very rarely open windows. I have humidity meters in all rooms and humidity always between 30 and 40. Temperature is also around 22, even when outside temperatures are negative. It’s 50 years old apartment building with 9 floors. I live on 8th floor. There are air vents sucking air 24/7 in kitchen and bathroom.
I always wondered how my apartment does not get cold and if there is any mold risk with my habits.
The main reason I don’t use heating is I will start sweating even if I keep it at *
sick 🙂 i wish i could afford living in a house built in 2020
And I’m sitting here in an Hamburger Knochen from 1950 while pushing all heaters to 5 in order to desperately trying to maintain 17-18°C while keeping humidity below 80%.
